LICENSE PLATE

To help you learn the elements and their symbols, you will make a vanity license plate.

Rules:

1. Only element symbols may be used.

2. The capital and small case of the letters must remain as it appears on the Periodic Table.

3. 10 letter maximum.

4. Numbers and any symbol on the keyboard may be used.

5. License plates are to be drawn on cardboard or poster board cut to the same size as a license plate.

6. Any background can be drawn as it appears on the license plate. Go to the DMV website (https://www.dmv.state.va.us) to get ideas for backgrounds.

7. Any state license plate is acceptable.

8. Record your name and number and period on the back of the license plate.

9. Grading is 50% originality, 25% accuracy with the symbols, 25% design.
